White wine DO Empordà

Grapes from selected vineyards in the Garriguella area. Area without water reserves. Maturation should be achieved with the March, April and May rain reserves. Early or white varieties are best suited for these conditions.

Garriguella has clay and slate soils. This blend gives very expressive and mineral-rich wines and enhances the varietal aromas, always following rational criteria of pruning, kilos of grapes per vine and optimal time of harvest.

This wine is made with the native varieties of white Garnacha 57% and Macabeo 42%, a typically Mediterranean wine. The macabeo spends 4 months in new French oak, looking for smoothness in the mouth, kindness and roundness when drinking it. In addition, 1% of small-grain Moscat is added.

It has mineral aromas, phosphorus and hydrocarbons. White flowers, orange blossom and almond blossom. Ripe apples and nut skin. Honey notes. In the mouth it is fresh, the Grenache present and the wine persistent.
