The Ventalló (Alt Empordà village) wine
With the merlot improvement variety I make this wine in the village of Ventalló. The proximity of the sea means that the sea breeze helps to create a micro-climate that prolongs the ripening hours of the grapes, with guarantees of humidity in case of drought.
The “suffering” of a Mediterranean climate is reflected in the world of wine, resulting in extremely fruity wines with a high alcohol content.
It is a very fresh wine, with strong tannins, black fruit and violet aromas that invite you to drink it alone, with summer dishes and with poultry, rice and noodles. We can also drink it a little cold.
